Ahhhh, access at home.

Well, it's official. We are back online at home. A lot of great things have happened since I hopped on at Chick-fil-a a few months ago. To start with, during that quick web access we were able to score a great trip to Disney World. Well, by "score" I mean "obtain a really awesome deal that I couldn't refuse, and managed to convince Fred that we needed to take". We drove out during Spring Break, arriving just in time to celebrate Truitt's 7th birthday in the happiest place on Earth. We dined with Mickey, rode the rides, met the princesses... and cried on the drive home.

It was a great week. So great that I came home even more obsessed with Disney than before I went (this was my first trip, by the way). I began searching options to become a travel agent that specializes in Disney Vacations, and found Off to Neverland Travel. I am now officially a Dream Maker with the agency, and can book Disney trips for friends & family (and anyone else that chooses to ask me to do so). I have just about convinced Fred that we need to make a return trip next Spring with our friends (who have agreed to go, provided I can get us an awesome rate). I hope to begin blogging more about these adventures, and even post the occasional special that is out there. Right now, they have a great deal for spring (travel by the first week in June) and of course the "free dining" they are promoting in all of their tv ads.

Bloggin' & Basketball

With our new laptop, and the wonderful world of Wifi at Chick-fil-a, I'm able to come in and do a quick update!! Yipee!!!
We've been busy lately. We added kid #4 to the family, another little girl we've named Corinne Adelle. She's keeping us busy, but so is basketball & baseball with the boys. We're currently between games, hence the trip to Chick-fil-a.
Anyway, we're off to eat lunch... mostly just hopped on to check out how the setup would work for us.

I hope to be on here a little more often, with more blogging to come.

New computer, new abilities?

Again, after a bit of an absence, I've found that I can post here. I'm wondering if my new computer at work is missing some of the blocks that get set, and that's why I was able to access all my favorite blogs once again.

A few family updates might be in order... we have new additions. Most people know that we have Corinne. The kids have gone back to school (well, by "kids" I mean "boys"), and Meredith has decided to start trying to go potty (yeah! only 2 in diapers for a short time). Everyone has adjusted well to the addition of Corinne, and she has fit in nicely. She's easy going, and quiet, and pretty much has an "along for the ride" attitude. She reminds me so much of how Aidan acted as a baby, and even resembles him in body type. She's long & lean, let's hope she can stay that way.

I'm sure new pictures would be nice to see... so here goes:

My current favorite picture.

This is the picture of Meredith I mentioned last week. I love the color in this much more than the color in the original. She is such a little monkey, and is really learning to ham it up. I think it's funny how she has gotten Aidan wrapped around her finger. She will climb in her Coupe Car that Santa brought her and call him to come and push her around the house. He always sighs, and tells her to wait, then puts down the Nintendo DS, and sweetly gets up to give her the ride she is asking for. She's a smart girl.

Holy Smokes!!! I can post!!!

As many of you know, I've been unable to access Blogger at work... where all my surfin' tends to happen. ;o) I was in a bit of shock today when I tried it, and found that I was indeed able to access the site, log in, and start creating a new post!

A quick recap of our last several months might include these highlights:
  • Aidan started the 3rd grade & turned 8 yrs old. YIKES!
  • Truitt started Kindergarten (and even BIGGER YIKES!)
  • Meredith hit 1 year in October... and now chases after the boys. That's right, full speed ahead.
  • I'm pregnant with #4. Yes, you read that correctly. I'm done after this one, which will be joining us in early May. I had an ultrasound recently, and we've opted to keep this baby's gender a surprise until the very end. I have no feelings either way as to which it could be... one day I think girl, the next it's boy. We're stuck for names... not that I'd share them with you before the birth if we had one anyway.

Some recent pictures of the kids.... sent out in the Christmas Card this year.

Aidan, at age 8. Trying to look all "cool" because he's 8, ya' know.

Truitt, age 5... but claims to be 6, climbing the trees at church on the courtyard. He is a monkey, by the way.

And sweet, sweet Meredith, age 14 months. Here, doing what she does best (looking too cute for her own good). I've got an altered version of this picture that I love much more. Maybe I'll post it in a few days.

Babe-zilla

I took this picture one Saturday while Truitt & Meredith were playing. He had gone and gotten out his train pieces, and put together the little figure eight that the track makes. Meredith sat and watched very intrigued the entire time. Once he pulled the train out and started moving it along the track, she was ALL OVER IT. He was laughing, and yet frustrated with her, the entire time. If you notice, she felt it was her duty to crawl all over it, and in the process she managed to tear up the track each time causing numerous derailments. Not to mention, that on more than one occasion, she sat her little tushie smack-dab in the middle of the track such that Truitt couldn't get his train to "pass through".

MMMMMM, Strawberries.

This is the face that Meredith made the other day when I gave her a little bite of a Strawberry. I thought the boys were going to die they were laughing so hard. She liked it, once she got past the initial tartness. Of course, I continued to give them to her, just to keep getting these faces so I could take pictures that would eventually end up here on the blog.

I think at this point she was thinking "Mom, seriously. Now you want me to grin for the camera as well?? Isn't the puckered look enough?" After this look would pass, she would do the "shake off" like a little wet puppy dog, and the look at me for more.
